Lk 3, 10-11: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour, because he has looked upon the humiliation of his servant. Yes, from now onwards all generations will call me blessed for the Almighty has done great things for me. Holy is his name, and his faithful love extends age after age to those who fear him.” Lk 3,3-4: “A voice of one that cries in the desert:
Prepare a way for the Lord, make his paths straight!”
Mary begins by proclaiming the change that has taken place in her life under the loving gaze of God who is most merciful. God is ready to change even our hearts because He is very generous with his gifts. He continues to do great things in us and through us but He needs us as He needed Mary’s YES. Let us welcome John’s invitation to take care of our spiritual life so that we may be always ready to welcome Jesus who is the Way, the Truth and the Life!
